    Hi all:

New York State says they allow you to use a taxation course taken at a Community College as sufficient to meet the tax requirement to sit for the exam.

Has anyone had firsthand experience doing so? I took feeeral income taxation ACC218 at Suffolk Community college which should be sufficient, but I wanted to see if others have had similar experiences.

I’m presently waiting on a decision on my application (evalreview is what’s listed in nasba). Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

I am pretty sure you're good.

I took a 1000 -level tax course (Federal Income Taxation) online at Bryant Stratton and it was accepted.

They accepted it. I received my acceptance letter yesterday and was told I’d have my notice to schedule in 3 to give business days. What a relief!
