So after a long time off Ive finally decided to begin studying for the CPA. Im going to do Ninja only.

    Anyway I have two questions.
First, several years ago, perhaps 2010 or so, I applied to take the test thinking I would study and be ready for it. I sent my documents in and got a NTS. Part of this be doing to a work agreement for CPA study materials. Unfortunately I didnt end up studying much and therefore didn’t take the test. The question I have here is would I need to resend all transcripta and such in again when applying to take the exam again?
If not, what if I took it in another state/region?

This leads to my next question. One big reason I have’t gotten my CPA or even really studied for it is due to living abroad in Asia doing unrelated work. However I recently decided Id go back into accounting and am determined to get my CPA. With my current location and work in my I have found taking the exam in Guam would be ideal. WouldI be able to take the exam there and assuming I pass use those scores to get licensed in another state, specifically Washington state? And going back to my first question once more would I be able to appli without needing to send in all transcripts again?

From what Ive looked into it I think sending scores to another area is possible but I just wanted to verify before I apply there. And i havent found anything regarding my other question.

Current plan would be two get 2 sections done this year either one at a time or two at once in Guam and finish up by mid next year.

    Thanks.

What state did you apply to? Contact them to see if you are still eligible. If you received an NTS then you are probably still eligible. Any CPA Exam candidate (does not matter the jurisdiction you applied to) can take the exam at a GUAM testing center if you pay the Guam Administration Fee. It does not matter where you take your exam, the scores are sent to the jurisdiction you applied to, and yes, you can transfer scores between jurisdictions. But if you transfer scores, you will probably have to resubmit your education to apply for licensure.
