I took AUD in 2017 I was pregnant so didn’t finish all the material. Failed with a 50.
Now I started again to study AUD 3 units in Gleim so far. I have 2 weeks without studying for family reasons (my baby sick and other situations). I’m in a dilemma right now. should I continue con AUD or switch to FAR

Do you already have an NTS for Audit? Either way, I would just stick to what you've already started. I don't really see any reason to switch given that you've already made it through a chunk of the material.

    FAR - PASSED 11/14
    AUD - TBD
    BEC - TBD
    REG - First take 2/16

continue with aud until you pass it. focus on far next or reg as they seem to give most people biggest trouble. but dont take any of the sections lightly as bec has been like the dark horse of all the tests

i would recommend to finish FAR first before AUD
you will encounter some of TBS in AUD that you should apply FAR.
you will not be able to solve those unless you know FAR (even though you know audit procedure).
if you took AUD a few months ago, i would say AUD too
but, a year could mean a fresh start then i would say to take FAR first.

I would also recommend FAR first. You've only done 3 of the 20 chapters, it's not like you'll be missing out on a lot.
Get FAR out of the way first, it leads nicely into AUD. Just my 2 cents.

I too recommend going for FAR first. Its difficulty is subjective but most people can agree it takes the longest to prepare. Also, I believe I prob wouldn't have passed AUD if I didn't have FAR fresh in my mind.

I def think you should do AUD first. It’s probably the easiest exam and being that you already started studying you can just review the chapters you already read. I used GLEIM and completed each chapter passing each MC and SIM with at least a 75 and passed the exam. In the event that you would ever need to retake an exam FAR is the last exam you’d want to have to take again as it is the most difficult and covers the most material.

wow amazed how people think differently on the difficulty of each exam 🙂
i personally think AUD is the hardest or as hard as FAR
at this point, i think the ideal order to take exams is FAR-AUD-REG-BEC (what i did: FAR-REG-AUD-BEC)
i thought REG was enjoyable if it's compared to FAR or AUD.

Thank You, everyone, for the advice. I'm studying FAR now.

I definitely think FAR is one to do before AUD unless you have several years experience in audit. And if you know audit you might actually want to do REG first because it seems to give audit people headaches lol

2017 is a long time since you last touch the material. You probably won't remember a single thing back when you first attempted it. I would start back from scratch on FAR then move to AUD.

Very interesting people saying do FAR first or AUD, etc. It all depends on who you are and what your background is. Personally, I think BEC is the hardest because it is the only section i did not pass on my first attempt and the only part i spent the most time on. BEC has a lot of unrelated topics and cost accounting is just so unnecessarily difficult for no reason at all.

Bottom line, it all depends on what you find interesting. I think you should sit for the most difficult one(for you) first because time is not on your side once you pass the first exam.

This is just my 2 cents!
