Submitting Work Experience Form

I know this will vary state from state. I live in Indiana and have heard that it takes roughly 2 weeks for NASBA to submit your scores to the state. Is there any incentive to having your experience form submitted and sent immediately? Will it speed up the process even if they don’t get the actual scores from NASBA for a week or 2 later? Reason I ask is my boss has been sitting on my forms and I keep telling him it’s not a huge deal because of the 2 week lag time. But is this correct or am I pro-longing the process?

I think the earlier you can start getting items in to your board the better it will be. Does Indiana's board actually process the applications or is it outsourced to NASBA like Colorado?

It seems so strange to me when people say their boss won't sign the experience form in a timely manner. To be fair, I had the form pre-filled so all my approver needed to do was sign it. I was even working in a position where having a CPA most-likely meant I was leaving and she was very prompt at getting it signed and sent to my state board.

    B - 88 (2/16)
    A - 84 (4/16)
    R - 73 (6/16), 82(7/16)
    F - 67 (1/16), 84(4/16)

    Ethics - 93

Good question I'm not sure how they process it. I did pre fill out the form for my boss. He has to sign and put his license # in 2 places. I'll just keep patiently waiting 🙂

It took me about 6 weeks to get my license from Indiana. Of course, Christmas and New Years was during that time. I was told that once the state requests your scores from NASBA, it takes a week or two to get them.
