    Hey everyone,

Anyone else here have to take the exam after the 2017 changes? Currently, I am trying to figure out what I need to do to study that will be different than the traditional advice given on here.

So far I have use Becker+Becker MCQ+ Ninja MCQ and take them in this order- Far->Aud->Reg-> Bec.

Any other suggestions or insights into studying for 2017? Also, is Becker necessary or can you just Ninja it?

…..Gulp. Super pumped to be another71’s guinea pig for the 2017 CPA exam. Anyone want to sponsor me and pay for my test prep? 🙂 🙂

I wouldn't start studying for any section until you're 8-12 weeks out from the actual test date.

FAR>AUD>REG>BEC is a good order to take them in. I went FAR>AUD>BEC>REG so I could knock everything out in 2 testing windows, but if that hadn't been a factor I would have gone in the order you're planning on.

You can totally do NINJA as standalone study material – see my sig. It really helps to be a self starter though.

bp000 just curious as to why not try to knock a couple of them out before the changes? There are 3 windows left before the changes.

Thanks Wombat. That is the route I will go then. I'd like to get it all done that April/May if at all possible as I am going to Europe for a month in May/June.

I am thinking my approach will read everything/ get it organized, drill everything for the first two tests in April then for the month of April study for the last two sections with everything already organized, read, and understood.

Stacy- I have one class in the spring I have to take to fufill the 24 hour requirement and I will be going on vacation in May/ June then moving to a different city, so I am hoping to get it all done before all of that :).
