I’m hoping to take my final exam in July and am now thinking about getting the ethics requirement out of the way immediately rather than waiting until after the September score release. However, I still want to enjoy what’s left of summer. How long does it take to complete the ethics requirement? I live in MN, so I have to take the AICPA course/exam I believe. Do you just take the exam online (so you can take it whenever)?

On Monday I spent 45 minutes on the exam and got a 98. It turns out that my college accounting ethics course back in 2013 was
*excellent* preparation.

I bought the paper text course through COCPA and just entered my answers in the AICPA CPE website listed in the materials.

Seriously – UPS delivered it at noon, I drove back to work after lunch, and I printed my certificate of completion by 2:30.
