I got a 70.

I was pretty sure that if I had any shot of passing it would be low, but a 70 wasn’t surprising. I was not prepared for the JE sims.

Too bad too because the sims were actually not that bad if you knew how to do the journal entries =(

Just focus on sims and JEs from now on ,and keep up with your mcqs…you'll pass the next time!

MaLoTu – you will get it next time and trying is better than just letting your NTS expire… don't get discouraged, it was a crap shoot with the time you had to give it.

Thanks for the supportive words, everyone. I hope to knock this out in April … I am going to attempt my BEC retake on 2/25.

@kyle – I was recently told about this site called accountingplay.com, I am going to check it out this time around (I was told after my exam).

Should I try NINJA notes and NINJA MCQ for the retake? I just feel that Becker isn't clicking for me, but not sure if it is the material or me …

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been roaming through many of the FAR discussion boards in the past month and found your contributions very helpful.

I'm studying for FAR with Becker as well and sims have me the most worried. What did you think of Becker's sims and JEs compared to the actual exam?

I actually thought that the Becker sims were quite comparable to the sims I seen on the exam. However, I must say that the first time I took FAR the sims were totally brutal and much harder than Becker… It can honestly go either way.
