Starting fresh: BEC, then FAR etc?

I know according to most everyone, the best order is something like FAR, AUD, then either BEC or REG, but with the changes to BEC, I might be able to get BEC done in February and FAR on the first day of April.

Otherwise, I could try to do FAR first, and then cram for BEC on March 10th. I guess it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other, but I just want to make sure to get BEC done before they add sims.

I'd go with BEC first then if you don't want to do the new version of the exam. To me, trying to take two exams you haven't studied for/taken before in one quarter is pushing it. Not saying it can't be done though, however FAR is a beast and you don't want to feel rushed with that one.

I actually studied both before, haha. Only took one; blew off the other because I was unquestionably not ready.

I am more familiar with BEC, even though I bombed the exam. Now that I'm studying full time, I could probably do that in a few weeks.

In that case definitely go with BEC-sounds like it's changing the most.

Take BEC!! Ain't nobody got time for SIMS on that random exam. Then I would honestly go to REG next, if you can. Take it as a 3 hour exam instead of a 4 hour one.

Also, I say this because there are several similarities between BEC and REG more than the other ones. Then take FAR and saving AUD for last. Your knowledge of journal entries for FAR will help on the AUD sims.

    REG 52 (4/28/15)
    AUD (9/9/16)

I took BEC in November, am scheduled to take FAR in January and noticed that some of BEC concepts dovetail over to FAR. For example, there are a lot of inventory and COGS questions, fair value questions and also some of the ratios I've seen in my FAR material.
