What are your thoughts on the grading of the new exam in first new testing period? I feel like there is going to be a significant curve and more leniency based off of peoples’ experience with the exam, especially with the SIMS.

All we are doing is spitting in the wind. Bottom line if you want to join a college fraternity/sorority there are many things you'll do that you wont agree with and will not be fully explained to you in the moment. Some of the tasks have some redeeming value and yrs later you can reflect on how the experience of doing made you better. Other tasks were merely for someone else's entertainment, but since your desire for association with that group was strong you played the fool. This testing process is no different. The lack of transparency and everything else we all complain about add to the “CPA Mystique”. These rituals are maintained so that when we crossover from candidates to licensees we'll remember what was done to us and do it to the next up and coming generation.
