It is so hard to start studying for the next portion of the exam when you don’t even know if you passed the last portion. How do you focus on another section without worrying that you might have to go back and re-study for the last section you might not have passed?

What's done is done. It's no use dwelling on that since your clock is already ticking. I know it's harder said then done. Trust in the process, that you've studied enough and repeat it for the next one.

Let me tell you, it's even harder to study for a lost exam. Especially because it was lost during the 4 month wait. !$$%^%#@!@#!@#$%^&*()*&% that's how I feel.

You can help alleviate that stress with your exam scheduling.

Try to schedule two per window (quarter). One test when the window opens and the other as the window is about to close.

Your retake schedule for this would be:

Pass first/failed second: Retake the second exam first thing in the next window since the info is fresh.
Failed first/pass second: Retake the first exam first thing in the next window
Failed first/failed second: Retake the second exam first thing in the next window and retake the first exam toward the end of the next window.
    Pass first/Pass second: Gravy baby.

I'm going to pass these exams if it's the last thing I do. In it two years already, don't want it to go to waste.

This is so true. It is so hard for me to focus on my present thinking about the past exam and waiting for results. q2 and q4 results wait has been so difficult.

I find it easier to move on without having to worry about the score right now. I can't do anything about it, and I'd be taking another exam this window regardless of the results.

@Ana you and me both! 2.5 years in currently and I'm just trying to push through and reach the finish line!

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

It begins with a 75, as most people on here will attest!! Although I'm currently on leave from studying, I'm soon to resume. If I pass one, it will definitely give me the motivation to finish the rest.

I actually always found studying a welcome distraction from worrying about the test I took. I took BEC and jumped into AUD studying the next Monday because the anxiety was killing me. Same with all the subsequent ones. In Q3, I took REG before I learned my AUD score, and it didn't much matter-I am not on the clock quite yet, so maybe that's why I have always just moved forward….

I feel the exact same way. I took FAR on 11/13 and was feeling like I could've passed but could've failed too. I honestly have no idea and now I'm just overthinking. I think I am going to make a plan in the case that I do fail so that I at least know what my next few months will look like one way or the other. I think that will help. Here's to hoping we don't have to worry about it though!

I actually planned all of my tests for the very end of the window, so I could take a week or so off of studying and then get my score, so I would know if I had to retake or could move on to the next test. Luckily I didn't have to retake any, but that 3 month wait for my last score was awful!

I like the idea of not studying for another part until you knock the last one out, but I understand the way the testing windows works that sometimes isn't possible.

@CPYay deserves a shout out, I think the exam scheduling suggested is brilliant. You`re too busy studying to worry about scores. Will definitely employ this

I used the same method as cpyay's and it didn't work out well for me.
