Hi guys– I was scheduled to take my final section (BEC) tomorrow Dec 17th, but unfortunately the the tri-state area is expected to get hit with 12-18 inches of snow and being that I scheduled my exam for a Prometric location in North Jersey, I was informed that the test center will be closed. With that being said, does anyone know what the rescheduling process is / who to contact? Seat availability is scarce as-is with COVID and considering I have all the information fresh in my head, I would hate to have to wait an extended period of time to take this test. I’m also curious how the payment process works. I could hypothetically reschedule today, but would most likely be hit with the reschudling fee. My thought is to wait until Prometric reaches out (I think the automated phone call I received said I’d get another call within 72 hours), but waiting 3 days to TAKE the test seems like a huge ask, let alone 3 days to merely reschedule. Any advice / insight would be greatly appreciated.

Gah, that has to be frustrating, I'm sorry to hear that. If it were me, I'd wait for the call for instructions; it should save you the fee, and maybe for the trouble, Prometric might offer you and the others a day/time that's not available to the general public. Of course, the other side of that is them saying to reschedule using the system, which if that's the case, would cost you at east three days like you said, maybe more. I'd just take it in stride and use that extra study time to your advantage; who knows, it might be the difference in passing. Good luck, bring this home!
