Should I take a break between the CPA and CFA?

    Question is in the title.

My finance knowledge is still fresh – but I’m also apprehensive on the risk of wearing down without any breaks.

There’s also the difficultly of getting back into a schedule once it’s broken.

It's entirely up to you. I don't for a second buy into the wearing down or burning out dialogue (somewhere right now is a single mom of five who works two jobs with no such luxury) but there's no reason to jump from one to another if you're not feeling it.

Yes. I am taking a break from Labor Day to Labor Day before I begin the CIA or CFE.

It depends. I'm looking forward to a break after finishing my CPA so I can focus on some non-career stuff (family, kids, house repairs, etc). But if you know you will need it and don't have any other pressing concerns, then I wouldn't take off more than a week before starting the next one.
