I am using becker and I have been going through each chapter with an average between 75-85% on homework first time around. However, I am quite a slow studier. My test is scheduled for may 31st..still have 3 more chapters to do and THEN review everything I learned. I got the far final review for Becker and I was wondering if I could allocate 5 days of review by going through the final review software before my test…I’m kind of torn. Part of me wants to reschedule so I can have guarantee review time and perfect the mcq and my final review. Part of me says to cram the final 3 chapters in and get this exam over with and that waiting until July 1st to take my exam will make me forget…what’s your opinion?

Also, how did you like the final review for Becker (for those who took it). I do decent in each chapter but I seem to blank on previous material when I glance at it in becker. The material is just so much. Does the final review help refresh for good review?

Don't reschedule. I'm a firm believer in never rescheduling because you should hold yourself accountable to be prepared for your original test date so I may be a little biased. If I were you I'd push as hard as you can to be prepared come 5/31 and, if you fail, push even harder throughout June and be ready July 1.

Don't reschedule, plow through the material as quick as possible and review as much as possible. MCQ MCQ MCQ

Best case you pass and you move on.

Worse case scenario, do a retake, but don't reschedule. A REtake is under $300. I would pay $300 to potentially have an extra month of my life.

You have not said how long it takes you to do each chapter-you just say that you learn better taking your time. Also, the last few chapters of Becker are government and not for profit, which will take a while to sink in.

It normally takes me anywhere from 3 to 5 days at my normal pace. I'm going to try and plow through it and see what happens. Nessie, I saw you took the final review. How did you like it? Did it help for the test?

@nali, funny, I was just considering buying final review for FAR tonight. There is a glitch when I try to order it, so maybe thats a sign to not bother. Do you know who the instructor is nali? Is it Gearty? Please say no. The final review was great for AUD because it was Mike Brown. It was OK for REG.

My only fear is that I might not be able to cover what I, personally need to review. Its another 30 hours, so not sure I should do it.

I dealt with the glitch too. Ended up ordering over the phone. Be careful, they got my order wrong the first time around (gave me BEC instead of FAR) but they handled it right away once I found out. If you do it over the phone confirm the product two times at least. I am not sure about the instructor because I haven't taken a look yet. Although I appreciate that he tells us what to highlight, i feel like he does that more than teach. Highlight this and just reads straight from the book…but he isn't the worst teacher I had..hopefully I finish reviewing on time. The sheer amount of material for far is making my head explode lol
