Short of College Credits, online college credits?

    I am waiting for my REG score, although I feel quite mixed about the exam, this is my last one, so I need to plan for the licensure since I didn’t study business undergrad (Master in Accounting), and in the State of Florida, I will need a crazy 36 upper lever Accounting and 39 upper level General Business credits to get the license. I currently run short of 21 credits in both category. I am wondering whether you guys know any reasonably priced online programs in which I can make up for my credits. I checked local community school, and none of them provide upper level credit (junior year and above). I already did 15 credits in LSU online program, so there are no classes there I can take.

    Thank you all!

    FAR - 79 (05/21/16)
    REG - 77 (06/08/16)
    Going to fill in the bonus paperwork now.

    It's much easier to find online lower division classes. UCLA Extension maybe?

    Summer online classes (California) are almost full. I was waitlisted for a while for my school but didn't get in. Someone posted here that Foothill College offers online classes, so I applied. But due to pre-requisite stuff, I am not able to register yet. It may take a while to get the clearance. Many classes are already full. I'd never imagine being stressed out by not getting in CC. 🙁

    I'm not sure if it's considered reasonably priced, but University of Cincinnati has a good online MBA program. They also have a Masters of Tax (since you already have accounting), which would give you the additional upper level Accounting. Now that I'm saying all this, I think they have an online program that combines the MBA with part of the Masters of Tax, so you send up with a concentration in Tax (corporate or individual, whichever you choose):

    @circadian,

    Do you know if you take the classes individually online? Or do you have to apply to a program first?

    Also, do you know if it's easy to receive a transcript from them if you are allowed to take them individually? I'm in Arizona, and also need the 36 upper division courses (already reached my 150 though, yay!). I just want to make sure this seems like the most viable option. LSU only offered 3 additional courses instead of the 4 that I need (assuming 3 credit hours per course).

    They are “extension” courses. I'd assume you don't have to apply to any program unless you are planning on getting some sort of certificate. I never took any classes there, so I can't say for sure.

    And about Foothill: I did take one online individual taxation class at Foothill College and they never asked for any proof of taking prerequisite courses. Foothill is a 2 year college, so of course they do not offer upper division courses. Must say that the tax course is really helping me with REG right now.

    Just be aware that UCLA and Foothill are on the quarter system.
