I asked this before but I need to get some guidance because I’m pretty confused on how to approach my retake.

    I failed AUD with a 69.
    MCQ: 3 stronger,
    2 comparable,
    1 weaker=
    overall mcq is stronger

    Sims=weaker

    My first take preparation:

go through becker lectures, take notes and do hw

I listened to ninja audio a ton and I did 6k ninja mcqs. I read the ninja notes a couple times (honestly, writing the ninja notes have never helped me before and it might be a waste to my learning style).
    =FAIL

I took 1 month off and I’m back at it.

The last 3 weeks I went thru the ninja book, chapter by chapter and completed each section of the ninja mcqs by hitting “new questions”. I just finished the 1630 ninja questions and I’m in the 90% area without doing repeats (missed only 160).

I feel like I might be memorizing questions from my first attempt. I plan to go through and hit ninjas ‘missed last time’ and ‘random’ questions.

But then what? My exam is in 3 weeks.

    Here are my options:

    -Keep hitting ninja questions?
-get roger/Wiley test bank and sims?
-possibly use ninja test bank and the second test bank?
    -hit the sims hard?
    -read the ninja notes more?
-use more of the AL is my preparation?

I feel like I have room to improve with my mcq’s but I think I need to improve on my foundation and use the AL more.

The biggest problem is that I truly feel like I can’t improve from my first attempt. As in “I felt like I was as prepared as I could ever be” walking into and out of the testing room!!

Because of this 1) I think a new test bank will help change things up 2) im pretty dam confused on how I can improve.

With a 90% pass rate for Audit and the amount of MCQ's you have done (and with Audits likelihood of repeating questions). You seem to already be in a good spot.

If you want to be infallible and you have some time go through all the lectures again, take notes, then re-write your notes actively (dont be dosing off). Then wittle those down to a smaller list. This converts more of your memory from short-term to long term. This would be excessive but not sure what other wrote there is with everything else you have done.

    I see.

    Thank you for your input!

    Congrats on passing as well.

So you wouldn't recommend getting another test bank? The cost for another test bank isn't an issue for me.

I would rewrite your notes to help the material stick. When I did my audit retake and I had memorized all the answers I forced myself to talk through the answer choices. I would not just pick A. I would go through each one and explain why it was right or why it was wrong. This helped me actually nail the concepts. Maybe you can start doing cumulative review and letting the test bank pick questions for you. I would do sets of 30 at a time pulling questions from all areas. I also took the time to look up FAR related material that I had been tested on, on previous attempts.

I remember trending around the 80s once and thought I was ready but only to come to terms with the fact that I had memorized answers and that was why I was scoring so high. Take your time and learn the concepts.

I mean if you want to buy another testbank, but it looks like you have the MCQ down considering your test scores.

With your SIMS being weaker, it may be you just need a slightly deeper understanding of the material of the material.(or you could have just got an unreasonably difficult SIMS test).
