Hey everyone. My BEC score will be released on 9/9 (1am), which is also the day I take my Audit exam at 11am. Should I wait until after I take my Audit exam to check if I passed BEC or not? Audit is my last exam and I don’t want to mentally psych myself out if BEC doesn’t go my way. Anyone have this experience before?

Just wait. Don't let it mar your exam experience.

I'm doing the opposite. I get my AUD score at 1AM and am taking BEC, my last exam, at noon. Fun, fun, fun.

I wish I did BEC before AUD. It's really hard going back to doing calculations and memorizing formulas after AUD. AUD has made me soft. Or maybe I'm just sick of studying or have calculation PTSD from FAR. Oh well, at least the questions are more straightforward.

I say don't look. Tha being said, that's a lot easier said than done

FAR- taken 8/11/16....now the wait begins
    AUD- scheduled 9/8/16
    BEC- scheduled 10/9/16
    REG-scheduled 12/10/16

I vote don't look also. To me it is too risky. If you failed you will be in a bad/horrible mood while taking AUD. No need to have that in the back of your mind while testing.

My motto before looking at my tests results was always – “If I don't know my score then I couldn't have failed yet” As if me looking my score up made the difference in my grade 🙂

    B – 80
    A – 74 – Trying again on Oct 7th.
    R – 87
    F – 79

First go at the CPA! Only using Becker
    Reg / Nov 2015 - 87
    Far / Apr 2016 - 79
    Bec / May 2016 - 80
    Aud / Aug 2016

Yeah, wait. Especially since with BEC, you could end up in the bubble, and with the recent issues with score releases (at least with selective people's scores), your score could just be randomly not out anyway. So, if you check at 8am, and don't see a score, then you'll be extra-nervous cause you should know and don't yet and convinced you're in the bubble and telling yourself things like that you say somewhere that the bubble is 72-76 so odds are better that you failed than that you passed and on and on. I'd think that having thought you'd known and then still not knowing would be worse than finding out you failed.

So…just wait. Tell yourself that as soon as you get out of the exam, you can check on your phone. Or once you get out of hte exam, you're treating yourself to a nice lunch, then going to take a stroll on the beach, then get home around 5pm, and then you'll check your scores. Or whatever your plan is. But establish it and promise yourself that you'll stick to it.

I would wait. This exam is stressful enough that you don't want to add to it right before taking it. Your score won't change and it will be there waiting when you get out. I never had a good feeling when leaving Prometric, but it would be awesome to find out I passed an exam as I walk out the door.

    FAR: 75 Roger & Ninja (notes/flashcards/audio/MCQ)
    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29

    I would definitely wait.
