I’m taking my FAR on March 9th, its the first section I’ll have taken. Should I immediately start studying for AUD next? or should I continue to drill MCQ and SIMS in case I fail FAR? How about for getting my NTS? should I just apply for that now?

Hope for the best and move on to AUD immediately.
If you fail FAR, stop AUD and go back to FAR. Take FAR and then AUD in Q2 2018.
If you pass FAR take AUD and another in Q2 2018.

With Q2 score releases being held until the end of the quarter you really need to try to knock out 2 exams per window to give yourself the best odds.

Once you've gotten the first NTS, subsequent NTS's only take a few days to get. I wouldn't bother signing up for the NTS until your next exam is like 6 weeks out to give yourself a longer window to take the test. Also, you save money if you sign up for multiple sections in one window (at least in my state).

Disclaimer: I'm in a NASBA state, so I don't know if NTS's are different in non-NASBA states.

@MantisAlfredo Do your best on FAR and assume you passed (regardless of how you feel walking out) and put it behind you until you receive the score. Study for AUD. Even if you learn you failed FAR, keep studying for AUD, take AUD and then go back to FAR.
