Scheduled all parts of CPA Exam

So I just scheduled the remaining three parts (FAR, REG, BEC) for April 8, May 31, and July 1. I don’t know if this is a great idea considering that I failed AUD so my retake for that most likely will be in August. The reason I did this rather than jumping back into the material is because I was told by my buddy during my internship to plow through all the sections first then do any retakes. But a lot of others have said stick to one part until pass. Now I am very concern this is a mistake on my end. I start full time in August. I am taking some additional credits now while studying. I hope to pass the remaining three parts in one try so I can finish Audit before starting. Should I put other sections on hold and retake AUD right after I finish FAR (Im currently studying for)?

That is really bad advice to take all of them first and then focus on retakes. With the previous poster, get a new friend

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

Bad idea. So much of that time you spent studying AUD is going to be wasted because you aren't going to remember it come this summer. Also, you haven't passed a part so your clock hasn't started yet. The only reason I'd see to move on to another part is if you had failed it multiple times and needed a fresh start. If I were you, i'd push FAR back to August and retake AUD in April. If your FAR NTS doesn't go into August, I'd schedule AUD April 1st or 2nd and study for AUD at the same time as FAR. I think you said you aren't working right now, so I think you'd have enough time to study for both. I've also heard that AUD and FAR are very related to each other.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16

I wouldn't schedule all four parts, but since you have scheduled, study hard to pass.

    It begins with a 75

I honestly didn't know what I was thinking to take that approach. My NTS for the remaining three expires in August. I guess i will reapply for Audit and take it in April and as Jdn says study FAR in the meantime. I thought I would have a few months to study and the classes i am taking aren't too bad so CPA would be my priority and I could pass the first try given the amount of time i have. But the exam I got was very FAR based for the SIMS and i haven't had time to review the FAR material. Thanks guys, now I really need to consider what I need to do with the rest.

I scheduled and took all four parts–worked out (had one retake, but it was my trailing test, so I probably got lucky in that regard).

I will say this, scheduling all four parts keep you on the ball and reduces your temptation to reschedule (move up one section and you have to move the subsequent sections or eat into the study time of the other sections etc).

My Becker instructor said to schedule all four and keep to your schedule. I never let more than a week lapse before starting to study again, I.e, I don't wait to see if I passed or failed to start the next section… Just seems too inefficient of time. For instance, if you take whatever exam on 4/10, you will wait about a month for score release. Just stick to your schedule and try to pass.
