Wondering if employers normally reimburse for registration and exam fees for retaking exams? My manager agreed to pay for the exam and application fees at the beginning, but I will be retaking two sections and paying about additional $500.
Before taking to my manager, wanted to see if anyone has been reimbursed for it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Eh, I don't know how larger firms work but I think the re-fee is on you.
I was 100% out of pocket for all exams, fees, books, courses etc, so consider yourself lucky to have the test covered the first time through.

I work for a small firm, and thankful for the financial support I've received. I won't bother asking about the re-fee.

If (When) you pass… maybe you can ask again, but I would be more interested in the raise that carries for a lifetime, than the one time $500 payment.
