just got my scores back for Reg…

Ethics and legal responsibilities – stronger

Business law – stronger

Federal tax process – stronger

Property taxation – comparable

Individual tax – comparable

Tax on entities – comparable

Sims – weaker

Score: 73

That was the 4th attempt!!!!

I need advice on how to master these reg sims. What did you do to prepare for them?? Currently using becker

First and foremost: UTILIZE THE RESEARCH TAB. It is not only useful for research questions but also the stuff they will ask you on the Sims are a lot of times complex or obscure things that few human beings would be able to store up in their noggin going into the exam. This is where the research tab comes into play. I had issues with passing Audit for this very reason and the first time I utilized this overlooked strategy, I ended up changing several wrong answers to the correct answers because I found a paragraph that answered verbatim the Sim I was tackling. I credit that discovery in part to passing with an 81.

Also, I try and work a few Sims in the NINJA MCQ before the exam, although I don't waste too much time with it because Sims are truly a crap shoot at the end of the day and you never know what topics in particular or what the format will be that they ask you about.

REG - 62, 71, 72 (Rematch sometime in October)
AUD - 65, 69, 70, 73, 72, 81 (Exp. 4/30/2017)
FAR - 61
BEC - 57, 73, 75 (Expired)

Unfortunately IMO the research TAB in REG is not nearly as helpful as the other sections. The Tax Code, even if you an find it doesn't mean you can interpret it especially under pressure.

PS Sorry about the near miss, that stinks.

rework all the Becker sims several times. review the MCQ's a lot. You are so close. If you can get the hang of the sims you should be able to pass – heck you had stronger or comparable on everything except the sims.
