REG….so much material.

At least with FAR, each chapter was somewhat related (other than Gov’t and NFP of course). I’m about 85 hours in study-wise and it’s just a clusterf— of various topics….I’m doing NINJA MCQ topic by topic and I feel like it’s not sticking. My previous two exams, I noticed the stuff started settling in around the final week, but is there anything I can do now (my test is June 10) to get a better understanding of the material? I’m taking notes on every wrong answer and ones that I’m unsure about, but it’s just like soooo much unrelated stuff. Any advice would be appreciated.

    FAR - 75 (2/25/16)
    AUD - 80 (4/8/16)
    REG - 80 (6/10/16)
    BEC - 79 (7/19/16)

You only get one shot with the spirit bomb.

You think that's bad? Wait until you get to BEC. I swear every single question is on a different topic.

FAR: 80 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
REG: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
BEC: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
    AUD: 8/27/16

So funny, I actually think REG isn't bad besides the law part. I feel fine with BEC as well, but AUD to me is hard. If FAR doesn't have that much material, I would think AUD is the hardest.

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

@Andyred04- I'm with you 100%!! BEC is going to be the death of me. Just started cost accounting and it's so frustrating trying to do problems on it. It's not that hard, but there's just so many ratios. There's no way to memorize them all while actually trying to learn the rest of the material. Both classes I took for cost accounting let us bring in a cheat sheet with all the ratios. Why can't we do it for BEC?!

    FAR: 75 Roger & Ninja (notes/flashcards/audio/MCQ)
    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29

Fortunately you will not likely to see a very complex question on actual test. What stinks is that you still need to know it… and most likely you will not need it on the exam!

I felt so cheated after taking FAR. I had to study so much for such a short (relative for the content) exam 🙁

Materials: Wiley book + Ninja MCQ

    FAR - 83 (Jan 2016)
    Study time: 6 weeks
    BEC - 87 (April 2016)
    Study time: 2 weeks
    AUD - 92 (July 2016), (74 Feb 2016), (72 May 2016)
    Study time: 4 (Feb) + 2 (May) + 3 (July) = 9 weeks total
    REG - (70 April 2016)
    Study time: 3 weeks

mhei8116- I know I'm unlikely to see questions with that much detail on the exam, but it's frustrating to keep getting them wrong. I only started studying last week so hopefully it will start to click as I get closer to the exam. I saw your thread about passing BEC in 2 weeks and I'm envious you were able to pull that off.

I do feel the Becker MCQ are typically harder than most questions I get on the tests, especially when I took REG.. I'm taking BEC in about 3 weeks, so I'm hoping it goes well.

First go at the CPA! Only using Becker
    Reg / Nov 2015 - 87
    Far / Apr 2016 - 79
    Bec / May 2016 - 80
    Aud / Aug 2016
