I can’t seem to find a clear answer on this anywhere.

I have a NTS for REG that ends on April 22nd. If i take it by the 20th, I’ll get my score by May 5th, and if I wait until the 22nd I get my scores the 24th of May. So naturally I’m trying to take it by the 20th.

Can I sign up for an exam next monday (the 18th) and take it on the 20th or 22nd? I would like to have the weekend to make sure I’m ready to take it by Wednesday, but don’t want to run into any problems of not being able to register for the exam at all that week and letting my NTS expire. And I’d rather not sign up for either date this week, as I won’t be able to take change it.

There are plenty of seats/times available in my area and many testing centers, so finding a date next week won’t be an issue, I’m just not sure if Prometric/NASBA will let me sign up that close to the testing date I want.

I seem to remember others doing that same thing (not something I would recommend, by the way). I'd say try to register and see what happens, and next time schedule your test a couple of months out and study up to test day.
