Hey guys, two quick questions:

On FAR, I found all the research questions (including the one on my exam) to be very easy. So far on REG, I find that the research questions using the IRC can be trickier. Is this something other people have noticed?

Also, what are the opinion on doing DRS next quarter? My exam is 5 days into the quarter and there is general consensus that DRS will start out being pre-test. Are people in my position taking the exam early in Q3 going to do that sim last with any remaining time? Also, are the normal research questions going away?

I was of the opinion that it wasn't pre-test, but that they were pulling the trigger on the DRS. People have mentioned them showing up as pre-test on current exams. Leaving them for last is probably the best strategy – though I hadn't thought about that before.

The IRC code – yeah it is difficult to find things. FAR was much easier, though the one on my actual test took some digging. I thought it was really helpful to spend time learning to navigate the AL in FAR and I'll spend even more time for REG.

IRC is tough because a lot of the time the correct answer isn't the exact paragraph/subsection that you find your answer in. That probably makes no sense, but basically I remember practicing these and finding the answer and then having to backtrack to find what major subsection the paragraph was under because that was the right answer. For example, if the answer I needed was Sect 10, Paragraph T, subparagraph 3 – I couldn't post the answer as such because it wouldn't take the subparagraph 3. The answer would be Sect 10, Para T. This confused me a lot because I never felt like I was entering the true right answer.
