Please don't stop FAR. Since your are finishing F5, I'd equate this to covering 70% of the major concepts.
FAR was my first test and honestly, I was unsure if the CPA was right for me. I was extremely intimidated by the exam, so my ONLY goal was to pass FAR (and then afterwards I'd reassess my goals after seeing if I passed or failed.) That being said, I started studying 4 months before my exam. 6-8 weeks in, I covered F1-F6. But then my sister came to visit from out of town, and I got majorly side tracked. I completely lost focus and did NOT study for a solid 6 weeks. 2 weeks before my test, I was panicking because I never covered F7-F10 AND I thought I was rusty on F1-F6. Ultimately, for the last 2 weeks, here's how I rushed and tackled the remaining parts:
-F7: I bs'd it. Quickly read the entire chapter. Watched 10% of lecture. Did 20% of the hw.
-F8 & F9: Watched 100% of lectures. Did not read book on my own. Bought ninja MC (at that point, I decided to abandon Becker and rely on Ninja MC.) After doing 90 ninja mc, I realized that I was significantly lacking in government, so I abandoned ninja and read the Becker F8 and F9. Completed all Becker homework for F8 and F9.
-F10: watched entire lecture at 3am, before exam.
*And then during last week I reviewed all my hand written notes and redid as many simulations as possible.
I explained all of this, to lead up to my main point. You've already covered a SIGNIFICANT portion of FAR. Since I scored a 91 even though BS'ing F7 and F10, and rushing on F8 and F9, I'd say you've already covered 70% of the important stuff.
*Note: please don't overlook government in F8 and F9. I think I would have failed if I didn't dedicate special attention to those chapters.
I'd recommending taking FAR first, and then either BEC or REG. But don't do 3 exams next quarter. That's murder and you'd set yourself up for failure.
Motivated by JC. I do it to make God proud.
