I just did a practice test on Ninja for REG. I didn’t pay a great attention to detail to it, as it only took 45 minutes for the whole thing and I had unfortunately memorized some of the questions, so I didn’t have to work the numbers out, although I do know how to do them. I wound up with a 77%, however I missed the research sim.

On the research sim, the answer was §1212. I put in §1212(a). The answer explanation was the question only asked for the section, not the subsection. I just took an MBA class for REG and we used Gleim in it, and every one of our research questions were correctly answered with the subsection.

So does the actual exam have questions where the subsection is not looked at and is it something that I will need to pay attention to if it says section or subsection? In Gleim, I never paid attention to that, never thought to actually, always went for the subsection. Now, I know this is an answer that probably cannot be answered as they do not give answers for the tests. I guess I am more wandering how people answer those.

you have to provide exactly what the sim is asking for. for example from IRC:

I think Gleim research tool is a little better, I normally practice research questions on Gleim. To me research questions are given points, you probably should do more research practice.
