Has anyone ever passed the exam and knew 100% they got the research question wrong???? Someone please give me hope 🙂

agreed – hard to believe it's worth as much as the others that involve real calcs.

@lswang- Really??? That would be great news and would make sense. Although, I have heard that the research question is worth the same as any other question.

No one knows for sure. But it would only be worth up to about 7% of the test, so even if you missed it you can still pass in the 90s if you did superb on the other parts. There's debates all over the place about whether it's worth 1 pnt, 2 pnts, exactly 1/5 or 1/6 of the SIMS depending on if you're taking REG or AUD/FAR. There's debates on whether it's all or nothing or they give partial credit. But bottom line, it's still not worth more than 7% of your entire exam. Lots of people have missed the research question and still passed.

Pretty sure it counts the same as the others. The FAR exam that I missed the research question was 73 for me. 🙁
