Which one would be easier?

I’ve taken tax class in college and I’ve done VITA once, so I have some exposure to tax but currently I work as auditor.

Once Q1 ends my busy season ends and I will start to prepare for my REG—–final CPA section.

I need to decide whether I’m going for Q2 REG or Q3. It’s different cuz changes incurred by the new tax reform could be made to Q3 REG exam.

Which one would be easier?

I'd go with testing in Q2 as you already have some exposure and experience with the current tax laws.
If you miss the mark, take again in Q3.

I agree with recked, try to take REG in Q2.
