REG/Business Law – Will a review course be enough, or should I take a course?

I only had “Legal Environment of Business” in college, do I need to take a semester-long college course in Business Law for REG? I have to do a review course for REG anyway to learn the new tax laws, so I wonder if the Business Law topics will be covered sufficiently in the review course?

    Thank you!

The review materials will cover the business law information necessary to pass the exam. I wouldn't take a course and study for the test. The review materials will also give you what you need concerning the new tax laws for 2019. If you just want to spend money I can send you my email where to cash app me… :-D. Really though what ever review materials you are using, updated of course, should give you what you need to pass.

The review courses are built to cover what is testable on the CPA exam. There are sufficient materials and MCQs on Business law in the review courses to prepare you for the exam. Also, a semester lasts almost 4 months. You will have forgotten so much of what you learned at the beginning of the semester and not have even scratched the surface of the tax sections.

Review course should be sufficient. Most candidates have not taken more than 1 business law course ever. Sure, college courses are helpful, but they're generally not the most effective way to study for the CPA exams.
