Hi guys,
So I’m retaking REG on Saturday and am having a minor panic attack. I’ve made it through all of the lecture videos and homeworks (using Becker) for all of the tax sections and the ethics section. After failing REG back in February with a 71, I took my time trying to really understand the tax topics as much as possible. I’ve gotten 80s and above on all of my homeworks, progress tests, etc., but am really panicking right now because it feels like I forgot EVERYTHING! A few weeks ago, I had individual tax down pat. But now all of the credits, deductions, mnemonics, etc. are hazy. I was planning on doing a quick run through of the B-Law questions one or two of the days this week and reviewing with MCQ and re-reading notes for the rest of it, but now I’m not sure if I’ll have time.
Did anyone else feel like this going into their review week? Is a week even enough time? I had planned on reviewing all this weekend, but spent it working through S Corps, Partnerships, and Estate tax since I hadn’t finished those videos and homeworks. Learning a whole new set of material the weekend before the test isn’t promising… Do you guys think I have a chance? Or do you have any recommendations for how to study from here on out? My test is on Saturday at 1:30 and I really have to pass it. I’m scheduled to take BEC December 2, which will give me the same time frame for that test that I had to study for AUD. My FAR credit expires towards the end of February, so if I fail this test (or heaven forbid, both) I’m going to most likely lose it. Any help is appreciated at this point, guys! Thank you!
