Reading what question is asking for before reading whole question?

Does anyone do that? Usually the last sentence of the question is what they are asking for. Does anyone read that first and then go back and read the whole question? Is this method recommended?

It's basic multiple choice test-taking strategy. By reading what is asked for first (the last sentence), you can determine what info is actually relevant in the body of the question.

If there is a lot of information then it is probably the best way to tackle the question. Otherwise, you will spend time reading and rereading the whole question. Becker encourages it. It is helpful to know what pieces of info you are looking for before you read a giant set of facts.

Definitely do that! Sometimes a question can be so long and look overwhelming, but reading the last sentence first will make it seem more manageable since you will have a better idea of what exactly you're looking for.

If it's a very long Q or a Q with a lot of #'s I did that. But most of the time I just read the darn thing lol
