Re-exam Application

    Hello,

I’ve taken CPA exam before from the state of NJ and taken it in NJ Prometric center. I recently moved to WI for employment and I don’t want to transfer my application to WI state as of now. Can I still re-apply for exam(s)/NTS under the state/jurisdiction of NJ and take exam(s) in WI (Madison)Prometric center? After I pass all my sections, I plan on transferring my scores and license to my settled home state.

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

I believe that is possible, yes.

I'm a Michigan candidate but I always take my exams in Ohio because I'm near a VERY small test center that rarely gets used and it's basically my lucky center.
Basically just keep applying as you have been and when you get your NTS just search by your current zip code, no other work necessary. We're lucky in that our exam is administered the same in every state it's just the actual states that have differing requirements to then be licensed.

That's some relief. Thanks Josh and Recked for your responses. It's appreciated.
