2017 CPA Exam Update Summary

Just a heads-up, the 2017 Updates will be out right after Christmas (Wednesday the 28th).

With Christmas on Sunday, and our baby due the 27th, just keeping everyone in the loop.

The updates are ready – but to prevent the onslaught of hundreds/thousands of update emails over Christmas – and people wondering why they haven’t gotten a reply, I’m holding off until then.

Just trying to clarify the new GAAP rules: for inventory it is lower of cost or net realizable value for all inventory methods except LIFO and retail. How do you apply the new inventory method?
