Hey all,

Just found out about my first pass on my second shot at BEC with an 82. Ya know how people always say “If I can pass, anyone can”? Well, I never believed that because I always felt like I was below the person saying that. But let me tell ya, IF I CAN PASS, SERIOUSLY ANYONE CAN PASS. I’ve been waiting to post something like this since I started the journey. My accounting grades in college were below average and I always questioned whether i’d ever see a pass. Just the sign I needed to keep pushing and I hope others struggling do the same.

Thank you! and Congrats on your first pass. I too struggled in my accounting classes in college and was not the brightest in terms of Accounting. Like you, I have always questioned myself that too. I hope one day I can post something along the lines of passing! Good Luck.

I like seeing others keep their heads up and get back on the horse after failing, I've been there as well. And yes, ANYONE can do this if they commit. I also had pretty bad grades in college, and actually felt like I retained close to nothing from college going into the CPA exam. Just a little over a month ago, I only had one exam passed as I waited for my AUD retake score on Feb 4. I got some good news there, buckled down for a few weeks, passed BEC, and now I am dialing in on my last exam just one left! So just because you have early struggles doesn't mean things cannot turn around for you, quickly at that. Granted, I still have one left, but much further ahead than I was just a little over a month ago. Keep going guys!!

I don’t think it has anything to do with GPA. I have never failed anything – until these exams. Lol I think it is commitment and perseverance. Congrats to you guys!! I have friends with very high GPAs who have already given up. 😉

Keep at it! I failed my first three exams before I got my first PASS!! I failed two more along the way but I never gave up. Keep grinding the MCQ's!!
