Hey all, I had a question that I was hoping someone might be able to give some verification on. So to give some background, I just graduated from a university in Florida (USF), but I am originally from Jersey and that is where I am looking to start my career. Through the program, I have 24 upper level accounting hours and both the college of business and the accounting program are AACSB certified. So what I am really asking for is verification of whether or not I am understanding NASBA’s website correctly. It reads:
“Earned a baccalaureate degree from a business school or college of business which has been granted accreditation in business by AACSB or ACBSP and completed each of the following:
At least 24 semester hours in accounting at the undergraduate level or the graduate level, which included coursework in financial accounting, auditing, taxation and management accounting;”Once again, looking for verification on whether or not I am good to go for accounting hours? If that is the case, I will just knock out the remaining 27 hours (graduated with 123) at a community college to save money.
