I read this tip a few months ago and it saved me this weekend! I’ve been studying for FAR since early November and just took it on 2/10/18 – my first exam. I had set out everything I needed the night before – snacks, a water bottle, appropriate layers of clothing. On my way to Prometric on Saturday morning it hit me that I didn’t have my NTS and I just started laughing when I realized I had put a copy of it in my glove box on the day I received it. I don’t know who it was that posted that tip originally, but I am forever grateful to them!

Between now and March 8 my husband and I are closing on our first house and moving, so luckily I have plenty to distract me until score release.

I hear you. I have one in my purse, in my planner and I will put one in my glove box. I have the habit of changing purses. Great point.

    It begins with a 75

That's good advice. When I was taking my 2nd test someone forgot theirs, but they just let them get it from their email on their phone…didn't even have to print it out.

Good idea to keep the NTS in your glove box! I never did that; I always printed out my NTS and placed it in my passenger seat the night before the exam. My “safety” plan was always to arrive at the testing center (4 miles from my house) early enough so that – if I did indeed forget anything – I'd have time to run back home to get it. Glove box idea is much smarter!

I'm so crazy, the day before I print one, fold it in 3rds then in half and put it in my wallet. In addition to 10 or so that I have in my car, study materials, desk at work.

“NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT”for those old enough to remember…

Little story about my last FAR test. I got to the testing center and was checking in. The lady then asked me for my NTS and I handed her the paper I had. She said it wasn't my NTS but my appointment confirmation. Crap, I grabbed the wrong paper. She told me I couldn't take the test without the NTS. I asked if I could print it up really quick or something and she said no. She told me I had 20 minutes left till my appointment and asked if I could go home and get it really quick. That was definitely not enough time. She then told me there was a library nearby to print it up. I ran to my car and peeled out of the parking lot. I’m super stressed, speeding through town but managed to make it to the library, print my NTS, and make it back just barely in time. I feel a wave of relief as I’m now waiting in line to get to my testing terminal. The next guy comes up behind me and he forgot his NTS. The same girl asked him if he could show it to her on his phone. He said of course and there was no problem. WHY THE HELL DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THAT! Now I’m pissed and I sit down at my desk and ended up getting a 60 on FAR.
