Prometric is Packed

    This location (Mountlake Terrace, WA) is usually pretty dead when I’m here.
    Today, it’s absolutely packed and almost everyone has a CPA book out.

    All of us desperate candidates trying to get in on the last day.

    That's my exam center! Used to travel 7 hours from Canada to write there. I also found it packed during the end of the windows, however closer to my desired date spots would open up. But I had to check very frequently. good luck!

    I have 2 prometrics about equidistant –45 min drive with no traffic.

    It was packed –mostly women though which coincidentally have ruined the public accounting profession. I know from first hand experience as I have worked for 3 CPA firms (regional to local)

    That's my center too! I started my exam about an hour late because it was so packed. I also was put in a different lobby that I didn't know existed.

    Really hope I never have to go back there. Some of those ladies are not nice 🙁

    And I mean I don't want to take another exam again haha

    the guy at work backed out from buying it–so I just took the exam instead.

    From my experience in public accounting ( 3 firms) women staff and senior staff are fine. It is when they become managers/senior managers they get nasty attitude like they have something to prove. Technically / brains they are fine, but attitude needs adjustment. They usually are mid 30/s early 40's with kids whose husband hates/neglects them so they take it out on MEN who are “below” them by controlling them, harassing (sometimes sexually) and just creating an uneasy environment.

    Woman partners are okay, as they having nothing to prove. Plus I noticed women in management are only rude to men below them but kiss the rear ends of anyone (male or female) above them.

    This is just my observation and inquiry. I have worked with like 20 women managers over 3 firms , and all but 3-4 were normal.

    No I agree with Shawn. Source: Am woman. Have ruined the public accounting profession – singlehandedly! My 24 year old woman powers have made it into a shell of what it once was.

    Working for 3 firms is actually quite a representative sample of the thousands of accounting firms amd the women in the profession in the United States.

    Just based on your posts of late, you seem to have a bad attitude or come off that way. And I've never met you. Point one finger and there are 4 pointing back.

    Prometric was crazy packed and I had an 8 am exam. I checked the ladys screen and everybody and their momma was sitting for the CPA today.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
