My REG exam was supposed to be today at 12:30. I get a call at 9:00 AM TODAY that my Prometric is closing due to ‘weather’ (yet it is not even snowing). Has anyone had a similar experience? What do I do now? The Prometric customer service lines are closed because it is the weekend. I NEED to sit on a weekend day and really needed to be this weekend but guess not…

I will def try again. Did it prompt you to type in your confirmation number? It wouldn't let me get past that either the first time because it said it could not find my confirmation ?

yeah i tried putting in my confirmation number and then pressing the # key, and it said it couldn't find my confirmation number either.

I'm trying the prometric chat service now, its on their contact us page, not sure if anyone will help me but my initial question went through in the messaging system

Are you guys all referencing the Worcester prometric? Ugh same exact boat! Have my first day at my busy season client on Monday and don't really feel like going through the entire first week there a nervous wreck trying to retain all my FAR info. Let me know if you find any resolutions. I couldn't get through when I called either.

Well the guy on the messaging chat told me to call the number again and select nothing when the menu options came and i would get connected….the menu options just kept repeating and then it hung up on me & the guy left the chat. Now I am unable to get back to anyone on this chat service and I can't reach anyone by phone with any method! I'm at a loss

^^ i am talking about the worcester one. have you gotten an email yet? i saw earlier that next weekend had open spots but i just checked and now all next weekend is full…. i haven't gotten an email or anything

Update: got in touch with someone on the instant messenger again. They can't help you on there, but the call center did open today for all the closures. I was told to call the # and stay on the line without hitting any menu options and supposedly I will get connected eventually.
I've been listening a while now and nothing yet but can't hurt to try

UPDATE AGAIN! I was now able to reschedule online on my own! Hope you are all able to do the same. Taking REG on monday now!

No, no one ever answered so I just randomly went on the website again and hit schedule exam as if it was a new exam and not a reschedule, & it went through and let me register

do you think i can do that? i haven't gotten an email or anything about my cancellation, its just listed on the prometric closure thats how i know. but i want to be proactive and make sure i get my spot on monday so I'm trying to do something right now. i dont want to do something stupid and register myself for something and lock myself out of my NTS somehow.

**edit – just tried entering in my section id and last name and it says that it is still in use….i guess i have to wait for my email.

i finally just got the email from prometric saying my test got cancelled and went to go and try to schedule and also used the reschedule but nothing worked. says that the phone line isn't available until monday morning. I'm trying to take it monday. great

Give it a few hours from the email, I think it has to process. In the meantime, you may as well call the # and let it hold for a while. don't hit anything for menu options just let it play (over and over and over)
