Hey,

Does anyone on here know if the test center in Dania Beach will be open on September 3rd? I’ve been in contact with prometric since Wednesday of last week and yesterday Meghan from the center told me it would be closed on Tuesday and I should receive an official email from prometric by 8 pm last night.

I’m travelling from Jamaica and have since cancelled my flight and hotel based on this information but I’ve not gotten anything from prometric as yet. And I’m worried I’m gonna lose my money for the exam.

The hurricane looks to be skirting the coast of Florida, close enough to Dania Beach and I dont even feel comfortable traveling alone to Florida during a storm

Can anyone tell me what to do if I havent heard from prometric about the test center closure?

I’d try to reschedule the exam online (assuming that you still can) and then chase them down for the rescheduling fee. It’s better than having to pay the full cost of getting another NTS if they end up giving you the run around.

It appears they just added that test center to the list of closures a few minutes ago. Do I now just wait for them to contact me regarding the rescheduling?

You can call them. That's what I did when they canceled one of my sections back in February. It was actually just a glitch in their computer that time. Also – for anyone else who is affected by the Hurricane IF for some reason the prometric center you are scheduled at does NOT close, but you can't get there because of the hurricane, you just need to call them and tell them what's going on and they will get you rescheduled.
