You laugh now but it took me 4 years to get experience after passing the exams.

Woah, what happened? I'm pretty confused on the changes, so there's education changes this Fall 2020 but I wonder what would be the consequences of passing all the exams pre-2024, let's use that example of no experience until 2024 and then the major changes happen.

For NY, most likely if you filed the license application before the change, they will use the old policy, else new policy applies. They did that last time when the up the requirements from 120 credits to 150 credits.

On my 8th year to get the experience… I'm in panic mode right now cause I'll fulfill the experience in 1 1/2 months. Catching the ride before Fall 2019 changes hopefully?

Did they say they will change the experience requirement also?

Hey JFKGY, I haven't had a chance to read the entire draft but I saw some education changes of which some are already offered in colleges and some can be completed separately – I didn't see an experience requirement except some notes regarding approved internships which I don't think will be in effect until 2024 as education is the most immediate.

I hope you meet the cut! Once again, not sure 100% on the stipulations or effects on pre-changes but hopefully there's a grandfather-in approach

keep kicking me while i am down. i remember the slight changes in 2011, big changes in 2017. hopefully i am done before 2024. could have been a doctor by now
