I’ve tried to do my own research and everything I read seems unclear (or maybe I’m suffering from too much work and studying and my brain just doesn’t function anymore).

I’m waiting on the score release date for 2 scores – but assuming I pass, what is the process after that to get the license?

I go on maternity leave in September and will have to ask my Accounting Director to sign off on my experience or whatever, but ideally I would like to have everything squared away on the entire process before I leave so it just doesn’t sit for 3 months (I’m a big fan of getting things marked off my to-do list so I don’t have to think/stress about it anymore).

I’m in WA state – don’t know if that’s relevant.

You just need to pass the AICPA ethics and WA ethics exams. You can knock both of them out in a day.
