Hey everyone, lets hear some pre-test day(or day of) routines! Anything of the sort… ways you prepare, get the jitters out, gain confidence, superstitious rituals. Whatever ya got!

Personally, I like jamming to music the day before. Something to boost my confidence/mood for the beating I am about to take the next day!

I've went 3/3 with taking my exam at 8:30 am (doesn't matter which day) and then immediately after the exam going to my local barber to get a haircut. The same will occur tomorrow lol

Day before I'd usually do a lite prep day. Maybe a 10-20 question/section review and some flash cards. Read outlines. No more than 4-5 hours. Often I had a hard time sleeping those nights…I did the best I could. Watch bad TV and try to fall asleep. Whatever.

Day of…I'd sleep in a bit late…have a BIG breakfast…lots and lots of coffee (that's every morning on the coffee). I'd go for a low stress bike ride. I'd spend an hour in a park. I did no prep test day. No review.

Day before i go over becker flashcards and do a progress test or light work on areas i struggle on (mult choice questions). then i close up shop by 8ishpm, drink tea, relax with my boyfriend, take meletonin, and sleeeeeep. Wake up – test is at 9am. Sleep in all i can. Grab starbucks and pack a snack, look over hand written notes and some flashcards then do the damn thing!

I take my first exam, FAR, April 11. I plan on hitting the gym in the morning as usual for a light workout just to get the blood pumping, nothing too strenuous. Treat myself to Starbucks on the way to the testing facility.

^^^ Good plan! Stick to what you know. Be in a routine. The light bike rides were great for me…nothing too much, just get the heart beating and my brain working.

I go to the exam and try to answer the questions correctly. I'm 2/2 so far with this strategy but I'm going to try like 2 more times before I say for sure that it works.
