    Hey Ninjas!

I’m gearing up for a power weekend of studying. Who’s with me? I’ve got to stay motivated, especially tomorrow (Saturday). I have a re-take of BEC on the 25th of this month. I wish it would rain all day tomorrow so that I could feel guilt-free about staying inside. Forecast says sunshine. 🙁

    AUD - 77
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 68; Retake 4/25/16
    REG - 5/28/16

Is practicing sims worth it or should I focus on the MCQ's. I find myself spending WAYYYYYYYYy too long on the sims and can't move on until I completely figure them out.

I found practicing SIMS worth it, but it depends on your time frame. If you have time, ok, but if you are in a crunch, MCQs are more time efficient IMHO.

130 down for this weekend so far!

Test is on Friday and I am sitting down now to start my power weekend. I am taking off on Monday to make it 3 full days. Of course the weather is perfect, but I will have to enjoy it on the run I will take to blow off some steam 4-5 hours from now.

Watching the R4 lecture again to make sure I have this down. Sims and questions the rest of the way. Becker and Gleim will be taking up all my time. Thankfully (for my studying) the family is out of town this weekend.

Was nice to check this forum and see that others are in the same mode as me. Anyone have any advice for surviving the power weekend? I have an excess of coffee ready to go and 3 meals already cooked and just needing a heating up. I like to sprinkle in a half hour or so of baseball every few hours to give me a break and clear my head. I also find myself up all hours depending on when I can get on a roll with questions. Anyone else notice they do this?

I'm in. I did 129 yesterday, and my goal is 200 today. I got REG on 6/10 and I'm trending at 58% in the Ninja MCQ. Material is boring and dry and hard to stick. Hopefully I'll be ready in 19 days.

    REG - 74, Retook 6/10/16, scored a 72 (Hate this exam)
    BEC - 69, 79, 8/1/15
    AUD - 83, 4/4/15
    FAR - 77, 2/27/16

My advice is DON'T GIVE IN TO DOING NOTHING, you will regret it. It is very nice out today, but I have my coffee and my lawn chair and I am going no further than my deck. So many things come to mind to do to distract from studying, but this is my time to nail it down, so I am not going to give in. Turned off my phone too.
Zig Ziglar says ” you don't get the energy waiting to do a thing, You do the thing then you'll get the energy.” It's true, just get started and you'll find it easy to continue…..it has worked for me to stop procrastinating with the mcq's. 19 days til test, no more time to waste. Start at 20 and increase or take a break review your notes and start another 20.

500 MCQs was a hefty goal…. I did 60 last night, 90 today and about 10 Sims……..already daydreaming about doing something else! Of course the first really nice day of the summer and everyone is going out today 🙁 ahhh Trying to picture passing REG and pushing on….

Keep on going Nancy, you can make 500!

I just finished 200, and I've made some flashcards. I am sequestered in my windowless office so as not to long for the beautiful 78 degree sunshine outside.

For Ninja MCQs I write out a one line explanation of the question and answer for each question, whether I get it right or wrong.

I'm writing too many notes, I feel anyway. I guess there is no short cuts just keep doing the questions.

More like power week for me. I've gone through over 80% of the Becker BEC lectures and multiple choice questions in one week!
