Possible to Pass AUD and REG by January?

A little background, I passed FAR and BEC in mid-2019 and failed REG soon after. Getting that fail, as well as the overall experience of studying for FAR and BEC, killed any passion and inherent drive I had for the accounting profession and so I decided to quit the exam and focus on getting work experience and trying to get into another profession. Fast forward to now and I’m feeling like maybe attempting the other two exams against because I have nothing to lose. I still have about 2 months of credit remaining before FAR and BEC fall off, I’m wondering if it’s realistic to think I can pass AUD and REG in that timeframe. I remember nothing of REG from my past attempts so I’m starting from scratch.

Why not right? If you're super focused and attentive, you should be good. To cut the distraction i put my phone away from my desk. Lol

It's absolutely possible if you commit to it and don't let off the gas! Are you working full-time? Makes it more difficult but if definitely still doable, especially if you can get some time off.

Good call to start Reg over completely. You've passed two already (use this for hope and confidence!) so that experience is invaluable to your studying and routine going forward. Good luck! You got this!!

I would say it's going to be difficult, and you will most likely need to take both exam in the same time frame (stress). If you still remember your FAR fairly well, it will help you on AUD. It didn't take me more than a month to study AUD.

Most people are either good at FAR or REG, one or the other. It also sounds like you are still in the accounting field (or related). Definitely get a CPA buddy or someone that's familiar with the test to help you, so you can skip the book and just ask for the answers.

It is going to be tough but it is possible. Here's what I would do:

Schedule your REG exam about 2-3 weeks before your credit expires. Study as much and as thoroughly as you can on the taxation chapters, cover all topics and prepare yourself to make sure you pass. For business law portion, do not dwell on every little detail and exception just know what the main concepts are.

Schedule your AUD exam 1 day before your credit expires. This one is going to have to be a hail mary. Don't get too caught up in the details and try to practice as many MCQs as you can in the time frame. Check out the “Pass in 20 days” section at the bottom of this webpage. You will need to really buckle down to stay on track but it is certainly worth a shot. Consider taking time off work leading up to the exam if you've got vacation available.

You can if you really want to do it and don’t let anything get in your way. I agree with getting the pass in 20 days document from Jeff and do what works for you. Just pull in bus law as you work on other mcq’s for REG. AUD is a process get that down and you can answer the questions you read closely correct. Practice sims for both exams. They will be very different. Now go get it!

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!

and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!
if you want things to change, you have to do something different

    Yes, it is absolutely possible.
Just study for 2 hours in the morning before work everyday, and grind on the weekends.
    Very possible.

It is absolutely possible, but (and its a big but) you have to put in the hours. Because you're short on time I highly suggest considering getting Roger's cram course, its basically a shorter, more condensed version of its regular length lectures. If you follow the study guide that Roger gives you and watch the cram course AND do all the mcqs AND hit the smartpath goals you will 100% pass. Following ^^^ makes it more than doable, its totally up to you, Roger always say IF YOU STUDY, YOU WILL PASS. so just trust the process and you'll do fine.
