There is an inverse relationship between happiness and probability of passing this exam.

He better be right because the last 2 months with FAR have been miserable. I’be had ZERO fun. I’ve done nothing for myself, nothing with my kids, nothing with my wife.

Basically I’ve worked, studied, and slept. Friday here we come!!!!!!!!!!!

Peter is legit. I'm sure his theory is true. Took me 3 attempts to pass FAR and it's been the darkest of days. My husband is so used to not hanging out with me and spending time with the dogs, he doesn't even notice when I've taken a break from studying. You can do it. It won't matter in a few months when we have our license and we're making millions and living in our mansions right? ha. Olinto-isms.

    BEC - 74, 77
    FAR - 72, 71 (retake 7/29)
    REG - 69
    AUD - Q4 '16

He speaks the truth. I started getting sick of studying, so I stopped. But, at the same time, I wouldn't allow myself to go out and have fun. I deliberately kept myself miserable to test out his theory. It worked and I passed FAR, REG, and BEC all on the first tries!!

@myasscheeks is by far my favorite name on this entire forum

    FAR - May 23rd (24th, Prometric power outage) - 89 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)>⌐■-■
    AUD - July 18th - 88 ┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬
    BEC - August 29th (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
    REG - TBD ಠ_ಠ

@SuckItUp I agree. I kept myself pretty much totally preoccupied with studying for AUD, BEC, and FAR and have passed them all one right after the other. However, after just finishing FAR which was definitely the most miserable for me of the three, I'm having some trouble getting myself together to study hard for REG, especially since I hate tax personally (no offense meant of course for anyone who may enjoy it). Do any of you have any tips for helping to stay motivated?

    AUD - Passed in May
    BEC - Passed in June
    FAR - Waiting for score
REG - Planning it for Q4

There's also the theory that Getting your CPA has a Direct Correlation with picking up a Hot Woman, and for a woman, picking up a Rich man (Partner of Firm).

I also hope that he is right. Cause right now I am debating about switching careers, something that I was debating a year about but didn't because I only had one year left to graduate. Really regretting my decision to go into Accounting. I guess I will see how it is when my grades come in on the 20th
