Hi Guys,

I’ve been using Becker to study, and the paper they print their books on create an absolute smudge-fest when I’m writing. Has anyone found a brand of pen that doesn’t smudge in the Becker books? This seems trivial but it will go a LONG way in keeping my notes clean, legible, and organized. Thanks!

I also didn't like the quality of becker books. I switched to taking my notes on Microsoft word. I use split screen. One screen has the lecture and the other has word. I type my notes as I watch. I pause and format throughout.

Agreed. The Becker paper quality is not good and I also stopped writing on the Becker book and am now using an actual notebook and Excel to take notes.

Before I gave up, I used Pentel RSVP red pens and those didn't smudge for me but I also made sure to not write too hard because it messes up the other pages when you do.

Regular ball point! I hate messy notes & it is important.
I found the PaperMate Inkjoy color ballpoint.
The fancy pens smudge.

I've used them on 4/4 Becker books and no smudges!

Papermate felt tip pens! I use a different color for each chapter and they do not smudge!
