Hey Everyone,
So I took REG first in July (20th) of 2019 and then BEC in October. I was 100% positive I failed REG (I also thought I failed BEC) so I didn’t immediately start studying for BEC and as a result I’m only going to get two tests done this year (I probably should have taken BEC in early October and tried to squeeze in another exam before the window closes on Dec 10 but the past is the past…
Now I’m wondering what the community thinks I should take next. I had planned on taking FAR next and then AUD (per Becker’s recommendation) but then I started wondering if I should try for AUD and then if I kept failing FAR I’d be able to just keep studying for and taking that until my window closes in January of 2021. I passed REG and BEC on the first try so I’m cautiously optimistic now but my goal is to try and take both AUD and FAR in Q1 testing window in case I fail either of them. The FAR book also changes between now and December 10th so that’s maybe something to consider? I originally spaced things out a lot because I’m an accountant for a public company and quarter/year-end is traditionally an awful time so I wanted to give myself lots of study time avoiding those busy periods, even so, if I started to study now that should be more than enough time to study for and take both FAR and AUD in the Q1 testing window, right?
Thanks!
