Passed exam in NJ, work in NYC…

    Hi everyone.

I passed the exam in NJ but never went through with the application because my boss was an EA (not a CPA). I then got a job in NYC at a Big4. Fast forward 1 year and hear I am. Any idea how to approach this? Will the experience in Nyc qualify for the NJ application? Do I have to try to transfer over my exams somehow?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks

I got my license through NJ and used Maryland work experience on my application. The application has your supervisor fill out, sign, and get notarized the work experience form. I also typed up a separate memo to document all work experience or explain any gaps in employment and stuck that in with the application package. Submitted my application in December and was licensed by early January.
