Hi everyone, I hope you’re all staying safe during these crazy times. I recently passed FAR (thank you God) and am all done with the hard part of exam taking and had a few questions on the process afterwards. I looked up NASBA dates on sending congratulatory letters out and am wondering if these will be delayed? Their website states congratulatory letters are going to be sent out April 15? Do I need to wait on congratulatory letters or can I begin on the experience verification part of it? Also, with regards to the experience verification part do I have to send a specific letter or can I just contact HR of the former accounting firm I worked for. Also, I had around 2 years of public accounting experience at 1 firm of which I was laid off at the end of it. I later worked 7 months at a separate big 4 firm. I’m wondering if the 2 years job manager doesn’t like me, are they allowed to not sign off on my experience verification? Lastly, does the work experience have to be within a certain time frame in the state of Michigan? I’m not sure if it has to be within 5 years or just at any time relevant work experience, I’m within 5 years but was just wondering. Sorry for all the questions and thank you so much for any help or advice ahead of time.
