I’ve tried pretty hard to read the BEC book. However, I am having a much more difficult time with it than I did FAR and AUD. Has anyone here passed with only BEC notes and MCQ? Would you recommend it?

It's possible. I couldn't get through the book either. I passed with a 77. I just took notes on the MCQ explanations on things that weren't in the NINJA notes. I also made a couple study sheets on card stock with important info & equations for each section that I then reviewed. You could then focus on concepts in the book that you are struggling with.

    BEC - 77
    REG - July 2016
    FAR - Oct 2016
    AUD - Nov 2016

I took BEC last week. Make sure you know COSO inside and out.

    FAR: 75 Roger & Ninja (notes/flashcards/audio/MCQ)
    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29

i focused mainly on the mcqs but i think it takes longer to go that route. for all sections i only took notes from mcqs. for bec i hit mcqs more than 6000 times and i needed 10+ weeks to prepare plus 2 for hard review. so many topics. so many calculations. i highly recommend miles youtube videos for bec – especially the capital budgeting. it is longer but it saved me a lot of study time for that section.
make sure you ask for a handheld calculator for exam. i lost time and points using the online calculator for that exam.
you can do this. good luck!!

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!
and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!
if you want things to change, you have to do something different
