    Woohooo I got a 74 in Audit!

I’ve been studying for a year. I only got a
    FAR- 61
    Audit- 68, 70, 73 and now a sweet 74!

Tried it with Becker and Ninja MCQ!

Life freaking rocks with a 74! All those hours waking up in the morning before work and spending my weekends at the library are useless.

Becker license is about to expire.
No social life. Not even a boyfriend. And I’m underpaid at my job. I only stayed besucase it was helping me with my studying schedule.

If anybody can beat that, let me know!

I hope that makes someone feel better. I was scheduled to seat in December for FAR but that’s not going to happen anymore. Haha!! Well, at least I tried.

I didn't get a 74 but got a 71. I guess a 21 point increase is a positive thou. We will get there guys. Like they say if it's easy it isn't worth it. No one will care how many times it took you, you get the same license as someone who past on the first try. I have found that some of the best CPAs I have come in contact with did not pass on their first attempt and I had a girl come to me at a firm I used to work at that passed the exam first try with 90s to ask me how to prepare a personal tax return. So that proves it doesn't matter how many times it takes you, you can still an amazing CPA.

    Heads up everyone.

I got a 74 on REG in September and just got a 92 on my retake. I busted my ass for a solid month going over all the material and I guess it paid off despite feeling that I had failed after leaving the exam..Hang in there guys, I feel your pain…

I have gotten 2 74's on AUD…my first time around my score report showed that I was stronger in the MCQ areas and weaker on the sims. MY second time, the score report showed that I was weaker in the MCQ areas and stronger on the sims…I feel like I deserve to pass with those stats!!

Wish me luck, I am taking AUD for the 3rd time in 2 weeks!

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 74, 74
    BEC - 83
    REG - TBD

It is ridiculous and laughable af at this point. I have never sucked at anything so bad in my life. Looks like I will be studying Nov-Dec and testing in Jan- just how I wanted to spend the next 3 months. FML

Got a 74 on Audit. Refreshed my score about 20 times hoping something would change.

What a horrible, horrible feeling it is.

Needsa75 – wow congrats on your Reg score! please tell me how you managed such a score increase. I've taken Reg 3x and scored 67,66,65. It's weird I feel like I know the material but it's the SIMs that get me. How does anyone know how to do EVERYTHING!? If I coulda picked and chosen which SIMs I've had in one testlet I know I woulda passed by now. How do you get passed the randomness??

    BEC - 75 (3x)
    AUD - 78 (3x)
    REG - 67, 66, Aug 1
    FAR - 54, Sept 8

@Claudia408 Thanks! I'm super relieved…Anyways, I'm not really sure how I managed such a dramatic score increase…I used Gleim when I got my 74 and after my friend finished with his exams he let me use Becker for my retake. So I went through all the Becker MCQ and threw in a bunch of Gleim questions as well. I focused on re-reading all the text and really nailing down the concepts as opposed to just memorizing answers.

That being said, after I left the exam I swear I thought I failed. No exaggeration. My MCQ was tricky from the get go. I didn't get what felt like a “medium” first testlet. TBH I didn't think my testlets got harder either. They were all tricky compared to my first REG take.

I really do believe the SIMS are just luck of the draw. I got a DRS sim the first time and couldn't even find the research question.

The second time, I got the research and had no DRS either. I left myself plenty of time to do the sims and review them. I think this is key. I needed about 1.5 hours for the sims. Make sure you study and really know the big concepts that are more likely to be tested on the sims. AMT, Property Transactions, Partnerships and C Corp formations etc..

Hopefully this is somewhat helpful and you nail it next time!

FML FML FML 74 on REG!!!!
Ughh I already have FAR schedule for 01/14. I’m thinking of cramming for REG end of December during christmas and taking it beginning of January…like 01/01 or 01/02…thoughts? I also have AUD scheduled for 03/10.. so the other option is to move AUD after April (and take the new version but I really don’t want to wait 10 weeks to get my score) and take REG on March 10th…thoughts?

    BEC – 85
    REG – 74, ?
    FAR – 01/14
    AUD – 03/10

I just got my 3rd 74 in a row. I got a 74 on audit twice so I decided to move on to FAR, only to see another 74 this morning. It is really hard to stay motivated knowing I am so close but have to study everything all over again.

    BEC - 91 (2/29/16)
    AUD- 74, 74
